Heart Streams in Dry Land

        As I go walking
                  Like a sower
                  Scattering seeds
                  On unknown ground
                  On a misty day
                  In falling rain

I pull from my inner self
                  (My bursting heart)
                  Feelings
                  Painful and Wonderful

        Casting
                  Words to the Wind
                  With flowing tears
                  So deeply held
                  Inside

        A sparkling spring
                  Of sobs
                  Comes rushing forth

        Nurturing pregnant thoughts
                  Wellsprings of life
                  To barren soil
                  In mystery.

        How can
                  My unknown heart
                  Sustain
                  Such
                  Painful
                  Treasured
                  Bursts of Glorious Blossoms

        Coloring Parched Desert
                  Rainbowlike
                  After a thunderstorm?

Oh what a beautiful poem TheraP! The images of scattering the potential, the random nature of growth and especially the circle of tears becoming the moisture from which new hope springs that you express so softly. Wow. It all makes sense, what we go through. It’s just hard for me to see it sometimes. Your poem brought these things to me. Thank you. - stratofrog

You are the best reader anyone could wish for! You have a gift - the gift of receptivity, I'd call it.

Beautiful commentary. Thank you.
